About debby
Debby Enoe is a dedicated educator, coach, mentor, and public speaker with an unwavering commitment to empowering young people, parents, and educators. Originally from the Caribbean, Debby moved to the UK as a teenager, where she faced racism in the education system. Teachers often labelled and discredited her, experiences that deeply shaped her purpose and fuelled her drive to create positive change for others who encounter similar challenges.
With decades of experience as a social sciences educator, Debby has been a lead mentor for various organisations, such as the 100 Black Men of London, as well as with two universities, including Middlesex. Her work extends beyond teaching children in the classroom, as she coaches parents and educators, helping them navigate both personal and professional challenges while fostering resilience and empowerment.
As the host of The Female Educators Round Table, an online show she created during the pandemic, Debby provides not only a platform but a safe space for educators worldwide to connect, share insights, and elevate their practices through reflection and discussion. She champions critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and innovative approaches, always encouraging those she works with to think outside the box, challenge the status quo, and approach their work with confidence and authenticity.
Through all her work, Debby lives by her mantra: Be Bold, Be Brave, Be Positively Blatant. This mantra serves as a daily reminder to always act with confidence, speak up for what matters, and FULLY embrace the power of authenticity in every aspect of life and teaching.
